Group Chief Executive, Schroders
Peter Harrison joined Schroders in March 2013 and is Group Chief Executive. He was appointed to the Board of Schroders plc in May 2014. Prior to his current role he was Global Head of Investment. Before joining Schroders, Mr Harrison was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of RWC Partners. From 2004 to 2006, he was Global Chief Investment Officer of Deutsche Bank’s various asset management businesses, including Morgan Grenfell, Scudder and DWS, with assets totaling $530 billion.
Mr Harrison was at Flemings/JP Morgan from 1996 to 2004 where he ran UK Specialist Equity Research and Asset Allocation, before taking over as Chief Investment Officer for Global Equities and Multi-asset. He previously worked as a Portfolio Manager at Newton Investment Management from 1991, with responsibility for global high performance mandates.
Mr Harrison’s investment career began in 1988 as a UK research analyst at Schroders. He is a Member of the Board of the Investment Association, and is on the CFA UK Advisory Board.
