Johan Andresen

Johan Andresen is Chairman of the board of Ferd, one of the largest privately held industrial and financial groups in Norway. Mr. Andresen is also Chair of the Council on Ethics of the Norwegian Government Pension Fund Global, the largest sovereign fund in the world with assets close to $1 trillion. The role of the Council is to evaluate the Fund’s investment in relation to its ethical guidelines. Mr. Andresen’s directorships include SEB (Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken) and NMI (Norwegian Microfinance Initiative), which he launched together with the Government of Norway and Junior Achievement Europe.
