Lim Chow Kiat
Last year, Lim Chow Kiat became the youngest inductee of the Fixed Income Analysts Society Hall of Fame in recognition of his contributions to the advancement of fixed-income analysis and portfolio management. He joined GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, in 1993 as a portfolio manager. He is currently managing director and group chief investment officer (GCIO). As GCIO, he leads GIC’si nvestment process and strategy, including asset allocation, active capital allocation and large investments. Previously, he served as deputy GCIO and president of public markets group and European Operations. He is a council member of World Economic Forum Global Agenda on Long Term Investing and a board member on the Council of Asset and Investment Management. He serves on the board of Chinese Calligraphy Society of Singapore. Mr Lim graduated with First-Class Honors in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and has attended the Stanford Executive Program. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
